A Fabulous Kampala Photoshoot

We had so much fun yesterday at our photoshoot with the nine fabulous volunteer models and two photographers. Of course, I couldn’t help myself and managed to take 1,162 pics too on my awesome Canon camera. So we have thousands of pics, literally, that I will review edit and get ready for social media, our catalog and other marketing materials.

Our models did a great job, posing, smiling and showcasing our new fall collection. You will see some previews of our beautiful new styles, interesting designs and unusual color combinations in the next two weeks. And then, these new necklaces and earrings will be added to our shop in September when I’m back in the U.S.

The days are flying by, but we have had so much fun and it has been so productive. We have taken time to discuss our partnerships and beads, the business process and new designs for all our women groups and also found some new designers that are contributing to the amazing fall collection. I also want to say a big thanks to the beautiful Ivory Castle Boutique Hotel for hosting our photoshoot and for serving us delicious pizzas to keep us going all afternoon. This hotel is a recently renovated mansion in beautiful Muyenga, Uganda. Please visit! And, their ”English breakfasts” are the best around. Seriously, eggs, potatoes, mushrooms, beans, toast, fruit, a glass of juice and African spiced tea - the best! And all in a beatiful setting with superb service.
