These are dramatic statement necklaces with 3 strands of beads in a tri-color combination. The dramatic effect is due to the sections of similarly colored beads, their placement and the contrasting seed beads (in gold tone).
We named them ssatu which means 3 in Luganda, a local language in Uganda. The tri-color design is really neat to work with. And as these are baby blue, gray, and bright blue, they still work with many different outfits. But, a light top and denim will look fabulous with this necklace. See the pictures!
These necklaces are made from recycled paper. Thin strips of paper are rolled into beads and varnished 5 times for durability. These beads have a bit of shine.
